I am very disappointed with HCL.. I am still in the onboarding process for contractors, and, I have pointed out repeatedly broken links and inquiries on how to get to the required course materials. The onboarding process is riddled with obstacles.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is strictly a work at home environment
What are some of the best things about your team?
Highly skilled individuals when it comes to IT, specifically, z/OS mainframes
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
I have no negative comments regarding this. I feel that it could be coordinated though.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company is not cognizant with US standards when it comes to the treatment of US personnel. I feel that a US Government needs to audit and research the company's practices and censure them.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The onboarding process should be better implemented for contractors. Very dismal. If there is a regulatory agency in the US, I feel this company should be censured for a complete failure in clarity of communication and more importantly, vet the onboarding process.
