Herman Miller Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Lots of benefit options to choose from.

Pay rate is fair for the market

Hourly wage and ability to get overtime

the opportunity to earn a bonus based on the performance of the entire company. It builds a lot of pride.

Review from Sales Dept

The 401(k) is really good. They invest up to 8% of your salary.

Everything. Best benefit package I have ever seen.

Everything about the package is great

Affordable medical and other perks

Benefits are pretty great, the process for updating could be better.

Fair Salary with good benefits

401k match and health benefits

Review from Sales Dept

i have a good insurance that meets all my needs

the range of available benefits

Company does a great job working to understand what employees value and tailoring compensation and benefits accordingly

I appreciate that I am recognized for my work. If I put in the hard work, compensation follows.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay us fairly for experience. Show the employees they have value.

Higher salary, better working conditions and insentives

CEO told us to leave pity city because we are struggling to afford common necessities

Better benefits, sabbaticals and a better 401k match

The pay scale for manufacturing employees is overlooked. A recent pay for skills program is a catastrophe. Instead of listening to affected employees and making changes, management nods and smiles and says "I know ".

Fair pay regardless of gender, orientation, faith, etc.

You either lead, follow or get out of the way. Herman was a leader at one time with benefits and pay. Now they have make it clear they are comfortable with the status quo being like any other company.

Pay needs to be in tuned with inflation

Recover the buying power we have lost
