Executive Bio

Mr. S. Shane Tedjarati has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of High Growth Regions at Honeywell International Inc. since 2012. Mr. Tedjarati served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Honeywell Asia at Honeywell International Inc. Mr. Tedjarati was responsible for Honeywell's entire business portfolio in China and India. Mr. Tedjarati served as the Chief Executive Officer of Honeywell Specialty Materials (China) Co., Ltd. Mr. Tedjarati is a Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a Special Advisor of the Chongqing Mayor's International Economic Advisory Council. He joined Honeywell from Deloitte Consulting, where he was the regional managing director for Greater China. In that role, he worked with Chinese stated-owned enterprises and multi-national corporations to help them formulate and execute strategies for sustainable growth in China and abroad. He served as a Member of Advisory Group at Zouk Capital LLP since 2010 and joined the industry advisory group in 2010. Mr. Tedjarati serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, industry Co-Chair of China Leaders for Manufacturing at Shanghai Jiao Tong University/MIT Dual Master of Engineering and MBA Program. Mr. Tedjarati served as a Director of Honeywell Automation India Limited from October 14, 2008 to June 19, 2013. Mr. Tedjarati has more than 20 years of experience in consulting to various industries and has been working in China since 1992. He has a proven track record of creating localized go-to-market strategies, fostering cross-business cooperation and nurturing business partnerships. He is one of the relatively few western businessmen who have successfully bridged the complex East-West divide in China and across Asia and understands the intricacies of growing complex businesses in this environment. He is also a sought-after speaker in China and the emerging markets. Mr. Tedjarati has authored many articles on business practices and works on a book regarding the social and cultural ramifications of the sweeping changes taking place in Chinese society. He holds an MBA from University of Surrey, United Kingdom and studied Computer Science and Mathematics from McGill University.
