Focus customer experience and try to be easy to business with and comply with internal controls as well
Approachable and open door policy
Everyone is very easy to talk too
They are engaged and are looking at future-proof solutions, not just the easy answer.
They are approachable and open to listening to ideas.
Get back to wanting to be the best place to work. Care about work/life balance for their employees and cut out retaliation for reporting issues, medical problems, not being part of the clique.
I feel like I am a number and not a person
Replace Allan Dziwoki as a leader
Understand that some employees were hired with the expectation of working a hybrid schedule and some would have chosen employment elsewhere if that wasn't going to be a perk that remained. If this was a perk that was not meant to be permanent, this should have been communicated when hired.
Show more appreciation to the employees. A former company I worked for stated in the cultural values that the Employees are the Company's most valuable assets. I don't feel like Hoshizaki feels that way. The hire DHs that lack care for their employees. The DH can't even say "Good Morning".
Terry Berry recognition system is great
The Medical Insurance is by far the best
Regular bonuses based on overall performance
The benefits package as well as bonus program.
The guaranteed bonus is a huge benefit and the emphasis on good health with onsite NP and cafeteria.
I am a salaried employee and have been working 12-14 hours a day and I do not receive overtime pay or comp time. I am now being told I Have to use my PTO time for everything.
My roles have increase and we also have to navigate an aging system, which causes issues and takes longer to complete tasks.
I wish I was paid a bit more. The economy is tough, and I'm basically living paycheck to paycheck. Getting a 3% raise each year doesn't help when I could leave and go elsewhere to make more
Aside from my direct manager, I do not think management knows what I do.
I do not think people realize how problematic our broken systems are that we use to do our work with and how much manual labor goes behind the scenes.
Work hard to accomplish what they should do.
Everyone has a great personality and is easy to work with
We get along together and have good communication
For my specific team, we all work well together and do a fantastic job. It's also a bonus to have a boss who truly cares for me.
The strong sense of camaraderie and collaboration within the department. We work well together, openly share knowledge, and support one another in achieving our goals. There is a shared commitment to improving processes, delivering high-quality results, and helping make the business more profitable.
I don't even know. Just too much of a high school clique.
Would like to see more Teamwork.
The department needs to work on making us a feel like one team instead of different teams within the department. We may all do different things, but we are one team.
Hold everyone accountable within the company
there are sub groups in our department and some salaried employees do not think they have to work as hard as I do.
Work as a team is great
The overall pace and atmosphere for the most part is correct. You dont feel like you will get fired over a single mistake and it feels like everyone works well together
People care about their work and how decisions impact the overall company
I have been with the company for a number of years and have met some of the best people I know here.
Laughter is a good sign you have a positive workplace culture. You can work hard and still laugh and enjoy your workday. I'm glad to hear a lot of laughter in my area of the building.
Employees need to be appreciated. With all the changes in management the values of the company have gone out the window. No one care about work/life balance anymore. No one cares about the employees anymore. Hoshizak America is not the same company I started working for years ago, it's worse.
Offer a consistent hybrid work schedule to all admin and office employees, rather than only a select few.
Interdepartmental collaboration, instead of the "It's not my department's job, we've never done it" mentality.
All members of leadership should be aligned with the culture initiatives and show support in them.
Most of Sr. leadership needs more education in leadership.

Meet coworkers at the office.
Opportunities to improve the current environment/processes
The chance to make a difference
Knowing that I've done my job to the best of my ability and that my position is secure.
I enjoy the challenges. Also, working with a sensible VP who wants the best for his employees and for the company.
Again, no work/life balance. Salaried employees should not have to use PTO time when they don't receive overtime pay. The high school clique mindset needs to go away. Hoshizaki and the executive team and management needs to start caring about their employees again.
The employee morale is very low. It feels fractured and most employees are not happy.
Leaders have a lot to learn. Stop leading with an Iron Fist and listen to your employees and their feedback. Allow Hybrid work when applicable. There is no reason to take away this benefit that cost the company zero dollars when it is so important to many of us.
The Department Head is terrible leader and has multiple complaints and HR doesn't do anything to change the low morale in the department and so it continues and morale is low.
Too many little cliques and fake personalities
