Not really sure what I like best.
My leadership team keeps turning a blind eye to what's going on in our department
I really don't know enough about what they do to have any say on the matter
Se preocupan por los empleados
I am very pleased with the growth and improvement I have observed in the sheet metal department over the past few years. I am even more enthusiastic about our continued progress as we strive to further develop and make it a leading example of Hoshizaki?
Investing in their employees and giving them clear assurance that there is a stable position for them with the company. When we hear of production being sent over the border to take advantage of cheaper labor costs and we're left wondering if we'll even have a forty-hour work week doesn't bode well.
Hiring qualified people from within, not DEI morons who cannot form a coherent sentence and lack critical knowledge about our products and how they are assembled.
Better hiring decisions that aren't based on DEI policies and are.more.focused on qualifications. Maybe try to promote from within rather than bringing in someone with zero prior experience to the manufacturing environment we work in daily.
Our department NEEDS to be organized ASAP. The way that we are running the shop is chaotic on a daily basis. We have worked every Fridays for the past 3 years (that we suppose to have Fridays off) and some Saturdays and we even have people that comes "On call" to find that Monday the lines are down.
To work on WORK/LIFE balance because ever since y'all forced us to go to "4 days 10 HRS" and "OCCIDENTAL FRIDAYS", we have been working every single Friday for the last 3 years now, and our superintendent is forcing some employees to work 12 hrs a day threatening to fired them if they don't comply.
The insurance, obviously. However, I'm still unable to use health benefits to buy groceries for my kid, ironically, as starvation doesn't equate to a medical condition according to insurance providers.
Hoshizaki takes GREAT CARE of its employees
Insurance but the more we use automation the harder it is to get things done.
Los bonos semestrales y el pago de mi hora
It is very competitive with other companies in our area.
I have been here a long time and don't get the recognition for what I know and contribute to the company.
The influx of immigrants being hired to the facility is a clear indication of stagnant wages being paid to dependable, hard-working Americans who deserve fair pay and preference over those who cannot even speak the national language.
getting paid the same as others that can't do their job.
because everyone gets the same raises no matter how well they perform.
Seems like I do more of the grunt work because operators in the department are not trained well enough to perform tasks confidently. Seems like efforts to train or assist are taken for granted. The pay increases seem really small for the level of effort being put forth.
We are all experienced in our field and know what needs to be done.
Trabajo en equipo y compromiso por el cumplimiento de los objetivos
I am proud of the abilities and skill level of our team members. Sheet metal work is a highly specialized trade that requires a level of expertise and precision that few possess.
we all work together to get the job done
The great people arownd the company
Depends on the employee; some just need to grow up. Many can't speak English and it creates a serious problem with communication with directly affects quality and safety concerns throughout the plant.
Quit standing around talking and getting paid for it and help fellow employees
Nothing personal just some days you just don't feel like dealing with all the drama
Most do not receive the proper orientation and and training before being dumped onto the production floor. Leaders are meant to lead, not act as babysitters and to be held accountable for untrained workers' mistakes. Also, certain managers show clear signs of.having held a management position.
Pride in our workplace builds quality not only in our products but also the job that we do Together as a Team
I appreciate the way HOSHIZAKI takes care of it's employees
Clean friendly and comfortable and it has allowed me to grow
La coordialidad de las personas
I have always taken pride in the level of professionalism within the company.
Keeping a positive attitude and getting along well with others
Only hire American workers. Promotions based on merit. If the company elects to shut down manufacturing under the guise of balancing inventory and production, employees should receive their hourly rate for that day as they are not choosing to abstain from work but are being forced out of work.
Stave the flow of immigrants hires. The language barrier creates problems in the training process that are easily absolve by hiring American workers. And it's beginning to show that the company is moving in a direction that is not favorable to its employees.
The company is fine. Some departments seem to need more training.
Fairness, Organization, Cross-training, alternate Fridays off, honesty, the word "WE" should be mandatory in our department if you're a supervisor (we are ALL team members).
Like i was saying, hire people qualified for the job. Someone here was just hired that has zero work experience except for fast food.

Completing a task and getting paid.
Being apart of HOSHIZAKI. Knowing I have a good career ahead
El horario de trabajo es muy comodo
Being successful, and helping create an environment that people want to come to everyday.
Interaction with other employees and associates
Manufacturing has slowed to a crawl, and we're hearing that production is being sent to Central America to take advantage of cheaper wages. People are wondering whether or not they'll have a job in six months, and all this after we spent near all of 2025 working 50 hours a week
You get up a 3:30 every morning and tell me how you feel
Management restructuring; there needs to be a clear and concise schedule for coordinators coming in daily to a mess of conflicting plans for the shift due to multiple supervisors wanting to do things their own way and then blaming the ones doing the work when something falls through.
I mean, who's actually excited about going to a paid-by-the hour job? An improvement that needs to be addressed is employees having to use their P.T.O. to get paid for company mandated shutdown days; we should be getting paid for time we are forced to take off.
Solid schedule changes on daily basis and lack of Fridays off...
