It started out great a few years ago but the company has been getting worse and worse.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team at my store is great because of their personalities and work ethic, but head office is intolerable.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Support your stores! We are literally making the money for the company but we get treated and paid the worst.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Allocating hours to stores to properly run their business, buy items that will ACTUALLY sell, and stop blaming the stores for a failing company that does no paid advertising, overprices all their product, and expects managers to come up with all the answers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have horrible vision benefits yet we are expected to stare at screens in dimly lit stores all day, head office always takes the side of abusive customers, we get a week of sick time for 365 days which is ridiculous and only 14 days of vacation.
