Though my first stint was difficult I had many people within my district willing to help me move past my original store manager's lack of empathy and performance.

The willingness to grow and develop staff

The entire team has strong communication and is very open and receptive to coaching opportunities

Being able to help customers find products that effectively express themselves as well as growing and developing my team
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I currently do not get benefits at and store level based off the volume of my store though I work as hard as those in higher volume stores. More attention and availability for full time positions for lower volume locations would be very helpful
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Hot Topic is very focused on development and retention of current employees and as a result the leadership is very invested in their talent. In my time at Hot Topic I've found many leaders willing to help me grow and build both professionally and personally
