The company expects way too much of its employees for far too little pay. I love all of my coworkers and feel it is unfair and unethical to be held to such expectations on unlivable wages.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is supportive of each other. Everyone is very understanding and kind with each other.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We get along with each other, we are considerate of each other, and we communicate well.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am overworked and underpaid. I got hired upon my college degree... to be paid 8.50 and hour.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I'm a KH at my store. I love all of our managers and we all get along really well and work well together.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview felt more like having a conversation and getting to know the SM and vice versa rather than an awkward job interview.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm considered a manager and I make 8.50/hr. That is not a living wage. I cannot even pay my basic bills with that. We are not allotted enough hours for me to work enough to pay my bills. The amount they expect from us for so little pay is absolutely unacceptable.
