The work schedule is great for a college student. They work around class schedules.

They made it feel like you were going to be a trusted, valuable asset to the "team".
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Clean up the "Good Ole Boys" network, and diversify. Treat everyone like they are important, and listen to what they say.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Part time employees are always left out of benefits and "perks". I understand that, but other stores pay more per hour to counter that deficit.
