Working with the dedicated co-workers, being able to help customers, and interactions with customers.

Communication, oversee hiring, listening to the employees concerns, and finding solutions that are best for all

That the manager and store director interviewed me. They were honest & upfront about the requirements of the job.

About half of the C-Store team is dedicated, goes above & beyond and truly cares about every aspect of their job.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication, oversee hiring, address & solve issues that come up. Ask for employees insights and then find solutions that are best for all.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Health benefits are very good but not very affordable. Hyvee calculates things into your hourly wage such as bonuses, profit Sharing, etc but this isn't the take home pay. And new hires can start off at the same wage that someone who has been with the company foe many years.
