I have had very positive experiences at my company. I often recommend IBM seeking employment.

Generally, I am very happy and satisfied at IBM. However, shortly after I started, there were massive resource actions which also affected my direct team. This made me pretty insecure, and I am still wondering whether my job is safe. Apart from that, I love the culture, atmosphere and opportunities.

I started working at IBM during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I have not been able to work side by side with any colleague. However, I have always feel this is the place I want to be and that it is always a pleasure to speaking to colleagues and clients even remotely.

My immediate team is fantastic. The work is fine. The expected output is fine if you're willing to lower your performance standards (I have been told by multiple people who have reviewed my work to downgrade my work quality to enhance my work-life balance). The C-Suite lacks vision and skill.

Not sure what level of the leadership team is meant, but I like the general atmosphere transparency and openness within IBM.

Not harassing employees for private, personal decisions. Attempting to do better. Not fostering a divisive and hostile environment; it would be nice if they would encourage people to be respectful, but I'll take just not actively fostering hostility. Having a clear vision.

The salary is little, they do not pay me overtime, other than that I can not choose vacations

IBM issues annual salary statements including my current pay and the industry average (according to IBM, and this is a low rate based on my own market research): IBM targets paying me 80% of the industry standard according to their own data. Pay a fair wage! Insurance options aren't great.

The general feel on a day-to-day is fairly laid back. Also, as most of us work from home these days, it's relatively easy to avoid the toxic people (unless you need help from HR directly).

Stop fostering hostility: let us (encourage us!) to get back to work (rather than waste energy stoking arguments). Mandates: a promise can be made to never again psychologically torture employees to "allow" them to make their own personal medical decisions.
