Intel Corporation Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Trust - there is no micro management, and nobody cares when you come to work, how many hours or days you take off, or if you're taking a lot of breaks. What matters is results, and you are trusted to get there as an adult.

Review from Engineering Dept

honest feedback and a desire for impact

Review from Communications Dept

For the time being we're allowed to work some shifts from home.

There a lot of Social safety

Neat technology, technicians on the floor are often the most knowledgeable and friendly.

Training training train train train

Teams often feel like teams, working together towards a common goal. Feedback, positive or negative, is never shot down.

Open door policy to talk to sr. Leaders

Working from home -- I get more done with fewer distractions.

People respect boundaries and flexible time

Review from Marketing Dept

Promise of product performance and history of plan execution

equality, inclusive, fair pay, fun, treated with dig ity, transparency

Constantly stimulating the creativity of employees, Intel is fully aware of the need to listen to the market as an advanced technology company, and the feedback of front-line sales people is extremely important to leaders

Diversity is fully embraced and encouraged

Good culture to work in

it is very inclusive and diverse

Focus is more on execution along with learning

Employee-centric, energetic, goal-driven, and very team-oriented (we can do better together)

Review from Marketing Dept

Helpful nature of Peers & most of the Managers

Everyone is helpful all the time

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Listen to your employees and provide a collaborative environment.

Better communication between groups would help

Need to be fast, value meritocracy

Raise salaries, stop laying good people off just to pay double to hire new ones that are less qualified then what they just laid off.

Put the engineers that are actually doing work first. Pay them fairly so they have the motivation to drive actual changes on the ground. Otherwise, all we ever will get is talk and nothing else.

Review from Engineering Dept

Less sexism and just less groups in general

Review from Product Dept

Stop all of the fake culture messages and blind promotion of minorities. Fire the multiple layers of caustic middle and executive management.

Review from Engineering Dept

Politics is more important than ideas

Review from Product Dept

Leadership to actually invest in their people.

Review from Operations Dept

Stop the constant layoffs. They seem to want nothing other than an army of VPs.

Review from Engineering Dept

Don’t hire first time people manager. They are often a micromanager and authority based. This people are culture crusher

Review from Engineering Dept

Purge the politics, nepotism and corruption.

Remove fear of punitive and retaliatory actions of managers and leaders from the culture. Those who speak up are sidelined and retaliated against in various ways.

Execs need to walk the same ethics they talk, managers need to depend on the smart people they hire and listen to them

management needs to change and listen. we have innovative ideas, but still doing things the old way

Review from Engineering Dept

impersonal environment with guards and video cameras, focus on deliverables and evaluations makes people testy

Review from Product Dept

Morale, pay, benefits, support, everything. Everyone raves about the stock price going up, but then programs that make employees happy are cut at that cost. The company needs to put employees first before its shareholders and investors.

Review from Engineering Dept

"Green badge" employees (maintenance, etc.) should be treated like members of the team and afforded the benefits that "blue badge" employees enjoy.

Review from Engineering Dept

more interaction and better understanding
