Internet Brands Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

The people i work with

Work from home, moderate work load. Easy job. Good pay.

My coworkers, my coworkers, my coworkers

working on lot of different things

Review from Engineering Dept

great team. open and receptive leadership.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Poor culture for employees, bad reputation in industry

Leadership needs a PLAN. We have no real communication. Evaluations and raises/bonuses are always late. Layoffs are coming, and no one is transparent about it. We have no company goals for 2023 yet, and it's Sept. Leadership claims not to know why/how/when on anything.

Review from Product Dept

All my customers told me not to take this job. Products are subpar. Entire website needs to be updated and revamped. Have a real training department, marketing department, human resources department. Stop running company like an auto dealer. Talk to salespeople find out how to improve the job.

it's old-school web. nothing sexy or fun.

Better culture. There is at oxic culture form the top down. It will never change unless the CEO is removed and replaced with a better leader.

Pay us fairly. Stop overworking us. Stop making us do the work of 5 people.

It really depends on the definition of success. Internet brands will continue grow for years to come. However, they will never improve culture because they have optimized for extreme cost cutting. IB's products will continue to have less impact on markets because that is not their goal.

Review from Product Dept

Low pay, low morale, horrible company culture and out of touch management. Management is selfish and bonus driven.

What do you like best about your company?

My coworkers are the only good thing about this company, but they're all leaving so soon there will be nothing I like about the company.

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

I'd like to see the company pay it's employees fairly.
