Review from Operations Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Work load and salary are not comparable.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 7 days ago

I just need to keep improving my time management and prioritization skills.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Large workload and no promises of growth or improved compensation despite successfully taking on such a large project as a brand new employee.

Review from Executive Dept

I was hired as hybrid and now im begin told that I have to come into the office everyday

Review from Operations Dept

It feels deflating to get a low compensation increase alongside a promotion.

Review from Finance Dept

The amount of work has been overwhelming and unmanageable. But there have been some recent changes I'm excited about that should help, but we'll see.

Review from Sales Dept

Stressful and most things are out of our control. The industry itself is stressful so not much we can do there but I firmly believe that introducing 4 day work weeks (rotating so the business is not affected) would provide more mental bandwidth for employees and improve work-life balance.

Review from Sales Dept

I think it's because the residents are so unhappy with us it makes the work not pleasant.

Review from Customer Support Dept

People need to do their work. Its frustrating having to step in for a lot of people and then having them complain about it. Most people have been working here for over a year and still can't read a work order. People seem lost all the time.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I don't feel like upper management values me and sees me as dispensable

Review from Admin Dept

Honestly the only way to improve the work culture for me is to remove the one who thinks it is ok to talk to their team like we are less

Review from Customer Success Dept

I feel that this is a good job, but I am still trying to feel things out and I am looking to see what exactly IH bring to me and what I bring to IH.

Review from Admin Dept

Over worked, too many locations, workorders, BTR, Large BTO's with no helpers

Review from Operations Dept

Invitation Homes could be a POSITIVE pioneer in the industry if they actually viewed people as people and not view people as money. People are struggling and we could care less. We keep raising rents, adding on more ancillary fees, and offering less regards to quality of homes, maintenance, etc..

Review from Sales Dept

compensation and coworker attitudes are going wrong. bonuses and team building activities could be improved.

Review from Operations Dept

From my perspective, the company has system flaws that actually keep things from flowing in a way that actually works best for employees and customers. I would make major restructuring changes there. Recent automation features are actually counterproductive.

Review from Sales Dept

I'm not sure this can be improved

Review from Sales Dept

I didn't receive adequate training and too much driving daily

Review from Operations Dept

Work load is extremely heavy which diminishes quality.

Review from Operations Dept

Extremely stressful and is a high workload. I tend to work 10 or more hours a day and still feel like more work can be done. Not enough hours in the day. More staff is needed to handle the workload.
