ITW Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The bonus structure is average compared to the flexible films market. The health insurance and 401k at ITW is above average.

Has a very strong benefits package

Our benefits are excellent...and very reasonably priced. They triple match my charitable contributions also.

Good insurance and 401k match

The 401k match is excellent. ITW uses strong data to ensure that wages are set correctly.

The time off they give you

fantastic benefits and solid bonus structure

That I have a secure job

The bonus compensation package Along with the rest of The company benefits

Review from Engineering Dept

My 401k is doing well

Savings fund and December bonuses

Pension scheme and fringe benefits

Competitive pay and 401k contributions are great. There is a match and after 1 year of service there is an additional contribution.

Bonuses, and lots of peks

I'm satisfied with everting that the package includes.

401k is fair and seems to do well

Base salary but wish I was eligible for higher bonus

Great health insurance and good parental leave

I feel we are now, post-Covid, below the industry standard on wages. Much of this is due to being a unionized shop.

Review from Product Dept

Great healthcare coverage and dental as well

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

No bonuses for Shop floor workers or incentives to perform.

Expected to work with subpar equipment, and to be paid based on experience and performance/ equality in the plant

They say pay is based on performance and experience it is not. They give you what they can get away with.

Ignored and disregarded by management.

Fair compensation for the level work done with proven results. New HR director that understands changing times, data utilization to make win-win decisions.

When you noticed that same position in same division have a big difference in salary -- and you everytime told "you are the best" ..but that one - that is payed worst ... anything is totally wrong !

Management only care about themselves, and there inner clique, expose people that are getting all the credit, when the little guy in the back is the one getting it done

Favoritism in the workplace, people not realizing leaders do not know as much as they think

Pay is below average and not competitive

We had 28 year employee whose missed 3 THREE DAYS in 28 years. Said as long as he’s there he’ll never get another raise and to “resume working and stay till done if not bc of talk”. 16 year employee told on work floor he’d never see another raise even if he was there 40 years. Quit on the spot.

I personally do more work than co worker and do not get compensated for it

A large raise and better benefits

I would feel better if we were compensated for the work we do. If they won't pay us enough they should hire enough people.

Review from Operations Dept

They run too lean. You have to do many jobs. Everyone gets a 2% raise regardless of how hard you work.

Review from Operations Dept

ITW doesn't benchmark to market or adjust compensation periodically to ensure they are paying at market. You are highly anchored to your compensation coming into ITW.

Yes I am undervalued and underappreciated
