ITW Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership teams would benefit from more walkthroughs in floor departments. attempt to be more interactive with Production employees to eliminate the divide.

They drive the 80/20 business model

Focus on the important stuff!

Review from Operations Dept

Supervisors do all they can with what they are given.

Shift supervision is good and do the best they can with what they are given

The leadership team will use all availability resources to support growth and learning. If a person is committed and invested strongly to reach a higher position, there is guidance and support to accomplish a goal.

Review from Engineering Dept

Great support for their managers.

They live the company's values and are committed to success/results while ensuring that employees are developed.

Great team that are very strong when we are working together

Values clear, business model, simplicity

Review from Product Dept

I can count on my team for full support on any issue I have. They are willing to work with me and teach me whatever I need.

Review from Product Dept

Honest and truly live out company values

Communication as partners is possible. But with the new "Organic Groth" strategy the single divisions raised up with their flat hierachy into complex structures

Non-micromanaging. Give you space to and trusts/expects that youll do your job.

They are always supportive to employee needs

Honesty, trust, respect and good will.

They are down to earth, open and trust worthy.

Open and honest with company goals and state

Down to earth and generous with their time

normal and can be better

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Transparency, there are many times the information provided to all employees isn't the pressing issues the company is dealing with.

Sould be more self thinking not company yes men.

New honest leaders would be nice. The biggest issue, the leaders need to do just that, Lead, and stop allowing the HR woke agenda to destroy

Learn how to be a good leader. Be a proatice leader rather than a reactive one. Please be more approachable. Also would help if you learn to be more professional.

Thinking more about their employees

Review from Product Dept

Stop pressuring people and set them yo to fail

They need to stop the favoritism of the entire first shift. They continue to let lazy people get more money and attendance is horrible and they still keep those employees. Need an outsider to come in and weed out the dead weight.

There is absolutely no communication from management to the employees. HR allows policy changes that hurt employees. Many people in leadership roles have no relationship skills and have never even met or spoken to floor workers. Some don't allow personal time to be taken when needed, unlike others.

Listen to the employees suggestions and input and act on it.

Treat and talk to people like human beings

Talking to people the way they would like to be talked to

One word- communication. We had policy in place for 2 years. Someone asked at safety meeting we’re supposed to have every month. This is august last was in April. “DONT WEVE HAD A POLICY FOR 2 years? Then why haven’t we been told. He was written up, sent home and suspended for 3 days

not lying about benefits and holidays

There is no direction and a complete lack of leadership. The managers have no idea how the plant runs so they concentrate on unimportant things not related to production.

Review from Operations Dept

HONESTY to the employees and some loyalty
