Transparency, there are many times the information provided to all employees isn't the pressing issues the company is dealing with.

Sould be more self thinking not company yes men.

New honest leaders would be nice. The biggest issue, the leaders need to do just that, Lead, and stop allowing the HR woke agenda to destroy

Learn how to be a good leader. Be a proatice leader rather than a reactive one. Please be more approachable. Also would help if you learn to be more professional.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The bonus structure is average compared to the flexible films market. The health insurance and 401k at ITW is above average.

Has a very strong benefits package

Our benefits are excellent...and very reasonably priced. They triple match my charitable contributions also.

The 401k match is excellent. ITW uses strong data to ensure that wages are set correctly.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

No bonuses for Shop floor workers or incentives to perform.

Expected to work with subpar equipment, and to be paid based on experience and performance/ equality in the plant

They say pay is based on performance and experience it is not. They give you what they can get away with.

Ignored and disregarded by management.

Fair compensation for the level work done with proven results. New HR director that understands changing times, data utilization to make win-win decisions.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My sales colleagues are seasoned sales folks and great team players. My VP GM is ex sales and does a great job in leading our group.

My team worked hard and knew their business. Our GM didnt have a clue. All his efforts were about getting a promotion. He was good at that.

The people. The expectations from ITW corporate leadership are unrealistic, but being surrounded by talent makes the journey easier.

Have management listen more to employees concerns

Eliminate complacency in middle to upper management, replace HR department staff.

Wages... possibly go back to 8 hr days so people aren't so tired plus have time after work to do things. Change our pto from taking 1 hr increments to 1/2 hr increments.

The wages need to increase a decent amount. Cost of living is ridiculous and our wages make it extremely difficult to stay afloat financially and that includes working 19 days straight just to get double time to help pay bills.

We have a unique film that customers cannot source elsewhere. We charge an egregious price for it and our service is average at best.

Management asks you to fill out certification papers checking the box everything is in great working condition when lights are out literally reprimanded for answering the lights arc out answer the way we told you or find someone who will. Hostile work environment all keep iSO cert.
