I have now been back at Jacobs for a little over two years and my experience has been good. The atmosphere is welcoming and coworkers are are supportive, but there is nowhere to go for a break or lunch. It gets very confined in the cubical all day, but I like my work.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They keep me informed of local and higher level changes, successes, reorganizations, and more.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a very relaxed atmosphere and positive attitudes. They seemed happy to talk to me an appreciated my worth.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like the contribution matching on my 401K. However, It would be better if the match % increased with employment years: <2yr = 5%, 2-5yr = 7%, 6-10yr = 8.5%, >10yr = 10%
What are some of the best things about your team?
They bring ideas to the table, iterative in decision making and planning, and great with follow through. My teams drive to exceed expectations and resolve problems in an organized and deliberate manner. Our processes work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all understand that we are human and do not have all the answers, so we assist each other so we all succeed in providing the customer with a quality product on schedule. We interact very well with the customer.
