I love Toyson Company very much. I heard that Toyson Company is very good and I want to work for a big company.

Well they seem to lose a lot of trailers they'll send you to Indianapolis to get an empty trailer to bring back or take over to their big count Home Depot and when you get to Indianapolis it's not there it's in Louisville so you have to drive down the Louisville to get it and they're not much better

That the door is always open if you need anything

Immediately leadership values work/life balance

The leadership team creates a family environment. They coach by walking around. They know my name and I feel like my contributions are appreciated.

Supportive communication & Feedback. Team Building within each dept & sub-dept at the terminal level

Sanity? Comprehencion of their job? Ride alongs where never done so the team had no clue what the drivers where dealing with and made ot very clear they had no interest in learning. The demanded ready times be set with no regard for traffic, gaslight/lied to drivers, and set calvinball standards

Be legal!! Dont discriminate. Pay ay markter not 25% below

i woukd say the compensation package is a good value

The pay rate is satisfactory

You actually pay me to do pretrips. We used to joke that half our salary was for checking the truck.

Best part about the company is how cheap your health insurance benefits are and how much that can cover. I know people who "work" there just for the health insurance benefits.

Health isurance is not very good and it is pretty expensive.

A change to a new account will better my needs

You will be told youll be promoted then they will outsource someone from a different account for the promotion after you invested yourself into the business

The team as a whole is very solid but lacks direction and leadership to help everyone understand expectations of their role

Protecting them from the bad things that jb hunt does. They make it worth it. They are good people who deserve fair and honest safe work. It is not that place.

My team provides analytical reporting to other teams. We value open feedback and teamwork. We also look for ways to do teambuilding throughout the year so that we continue to get to know each other better.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Management needs to support team communication between departments.

My fellow drivers are fine but the office staff needs to start doing full turn ride alongs and understand the drivers know more then they do, particularly when they have only been their a couple years. Getting told what is safe by someone who has never driven a truck is a "no".

Work together and help each other and when you bring your tractor back keep it full of fuel or death don't leave it in a quarter of a tank and then the first thing when you get in it you got to find a truck stop to fill it up and to keep their inside of the truck clean I

Dispatchers need to actually focus on dispatching, and making an effort to keep the drivers moving, because that is how drivers get paid is by mile and by load

Coworkers were great but higher management unfairly promotes from didferent accounts

Some techs ignore management & try to communicate their exact needs to to me to get the job completed.

There is a sense of community, especially if you're involved with the ERGs. Most people here are good people.

I really can't give an answer for that I think they should have more Communications with the drivers instead of thriving on chaos

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Ride alongs need to be done. Drivers need to be listened too. Preplans need to be sent to the truck promptly not 6 hours after my loaded call. Performance standards need to be written down and signed by each driver, as well as posted visibly. And you need better metrics.

Stop forcing commutes and allow remote work, implement sick days and mental health days, give all employees PTO from day one, let employees off for Christmas Eve, Juneteenth, MLK Day and the day after Thanksgiving. Anything else is inconsistent with the company's stated values

Change the board and the executive team. Culture has to start at the top!

My current company is millis not jbhunt. They are very picky and thats a good thing.

The interviews were straightforward and positive. My initial interview was done over teams as well as my interview when I promoted. The questions were relative to my experience and education.

I woyld improve it by getting rid of the vp Rachel Christensen who is a horrible boss 89% of the drivers dont know her becsuse of her harsh denemor. She keaves her ship unattended to the directir & oms eho have no ckue on how to deal wirh employees.

Well this is only on account im on cant speak for all of them but the supervisors for the account im on call me directly not always but daily because they dont want to deal with dispatch because they say it wont get done

There is no real incentive for drivers to stay with jb hunt once there because the pay isnt as good as it could be due to how drivers are ran, if they laid market rate, or justdid better driver management there would be higher incentive to deal with the negative workspace

Management and the pay rate is going down big time instead of going up
