I started out as an intern during school and then transitioned into a full time position once I graduated. They gave me a fair offer for a new grad and I quickly accepted as I loved working with everyone and the goal the company was striving for.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interactions often times didn't feel like interviews but rather just conversations. This made the whole process comfortable.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Good salaries for employees. While the benefits are a bit lower than other larger companies since we are still a startup, the salaries make up for it.
What makes you most happy at work?
Every project I work on has noticeable impact on the company making everything I do feel like it has meaning. This helps me stay focused and driven.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Daily interactions. Many people eat lunch together and go to events after work together making work much more enjoyable as you often know the people on your team well.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is very nice. It's evident that's been the main thing the leadership has looked for when making a hire. People are enjoyable to interact with, empathetic, and want everyone to enjoy what it is they're doing.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are considerate of their employees and always listen to the concerns anyone at any level in the company has. They're also very driven to work towards the goal Karat is working towards which makes it inspiring to work alongside them.
