KinderCare Education Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

In general I think is perfectly to myself

Nothing nor god pay and even my holiday pay is wors they cut and no PTO not vication no holiday right pay

All of it sounds good

Dental and Vision is very reasonable and the 401 K plan is a great plan there are 3 different tiers to how you invest.

Absolutely everything about it is the best part

Paid holidays and a 401k

Benefits aren't given until after a year and I was not told that so i'm not sure because I haven't hit my year.

Me and the teachers and the kids have a good time together exept as soon as the director comes in she starts to be rude to me and treat me diffrently

It is as much as i required

the best park would be the biweekly pay along with the benefits thay we recieve

The best part about my compensation package is the 401K options we have available.

Review from Admin Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'd rather have merit based pay increases.

Being a teacher there is a ton of responsiblity but the pay is not up to par

More pay and better benefits.

THE MARGIN BETWEEN A SALERY EXECUTIVE AND HOYRLY TEACHER COMPENSATION IS ENORMOUS

Tenured employees do not get raises only a small bonus , new employees make just a few dollars under employees that have been there for over 15 years

I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education but am still getting paid 12.75 an hour. It's frankly laughable.

I take 37% less for what I do than other people doing the same job. Kindercare is a garbage company

I see other centers offer couple dollars more and I just to get paid more in my other job

Give rasises to people wbo deserve them for esuxation, we just lost a WONDERFUL 2 year old teacher because when she grauated with her masters corporate would not give her a raise! Now our 2 year old room has no structure! It is hard to find a good 2 year old teacher

Review from Customer Success Dept

They hire with the lowest pay available even though you have well over the credits needed for a lead teacher position. Nobody says thank you and the only thing people care about there is breaks, hours and micromanaging instead of checking in on the children.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I have not had a raise since March 2022 and told I wont until January 2024. All new hires making more.

I make less than $20 an hour. I have a bachelors degree and 20 years of exoerience. My hourly wage has been capped. Paid time off is minimal and is available after a year of employment. We recieve 40 hours of vacation and personal time is earned based on the amount of hours worked.

The way they can change your hours without notice and you just fee replaceable

Under vauled by thinking we need to work 12 hour days because we are salary and we are short staffed

The starting rate is $12.75. When i can go and work at Dairy Queen where the starting rate is $16. Being a single mom who struggles financially, its still hard to think about leaving my KinderCare kids.

We don't get bathroom breaks, the boss doesn't like some of us so is always coming after us for things we didn't do, refuses time off, wants us in when we are sick, refuses to send sick kids home

Our families are paying over $300 a week and our teachers are paid under $15 an hour. While the centers in our surrounding area that do not offer the same level of support or curriculum charge families half that while paying teachers $17+ an hour.

respect from management. We work hard for our classroom but never get appreciation.

Teachers are underpaid for all of the stuff we have to go through and do on a daily basis

Getting paid more for the work i do
