What makes you most happy at work?

The kids. I love working with them, even on the most exhausting days

Posted 19 days ago

Watching my children grown through the years and have the ability to build strong relationships woth this families

Seeing kids happy and learning & growing in all aspects of their life.

Consistency but also the ability to adapt quickly to any variables throughout the day.

Having a day where I can teach my class and have fun watching them learn and grow.

My CD, co-workers and kids

The children i worked with

Seeing children excited about something they have learned

Being able to interact with my team, families, and children.

My kids really make me happy.

They families we have are amazing

Being able to have an opportunity to learn and grow with the children and staff members

Seeing the smiles and hearing the children laughing

Making a difference in some kids lives. Not everyone has a happy home. But seeing the kids in my class smile when i arrive is amazing!!

Being able to cook for the children

Review from Operations Dept

Working with my students and giving them opportunities to learn and grow.

When I have succesfully completed a task ask of me.

Review from Admin Dept

Teaching the children life long skills

Seeing my preschool kids smiling snd excitied to be at school

Review from Customer Success Dept

Sharing with kids and trying to make them better

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We need to be honest with the parents and stop thinking strictly about the corporations needs only and really focus on with the parents and the children need. KinderCare has gotten way too deep into its own bottom line and profits and his let go of the values of the children and staff.

Review from Admin Dept

Disciplinary policies need refined and to be taken seriously and actually utilizes.

Our manager doesn't know what she's doing. The company doesn't pay enough.

PAY THE EMPLOYEES BETTER WAGES! PAY THE EMPLOYEES BETTER WAGES! PAY THE EMPLOYEES BETTER WAGES!

MANAGEMENT. It could be improved by hiring an experienced management team instead of a brand new incompetent one that aren't aware of labor laws.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Domino effect high turn over with teachers and directors > not happy families = high turn over for families leaving and it's a cycle

Get rid of the current director and assistant director and bring in people that care and know what they are doing

We keep increasing tuition for families, and fees and taking away their benefits (vacation/sick time for child unpaid, credit, discounts, etc.) Yet, our directors and teachers are being denied raises. No raises, no bonues, now less sick/vacation time for employees. All take- no give.

A lot of parents have complaints but because this is a last source daycare choice for them they bottle them.

There are a lot of lies to the families andvthis doesn't sit well with me.

Higher wages for teachers would solve a lot of staffing issues

Select staff have special agreement schedules shifting chunks to other workers during peak child activity periods. Directors not supportive of teachers need for Covid cleaning time, bathroom breaks, communications

Pay your emoloyees what they are worth.

Review from Customer Success Dept

parents arent seen the mishandling of their children because of covid restricting access to the building, but if they saw, i know theyd pull their kids out in a heart beat

Review from Customer Success Dept

PAY US A LIVABLE WAGE AND APPRECIATE THAT WE ARE SHAPING THE YOUTH OF AMERICA! This country wants everyone to be smart, successful and rich, yet make it impossible for the lower-midaverage class to achieve in certain fields. You want us to build the brains for peanuts; while we sacrifice our sanity!

Decisions are made to benifit the company's income at the detriment of the students and staff.

management is not great for us

Need better support from management regarding disciplining children

Review from Operations Dept

Managment dont interact on a daily basis youre stuck in a room until you call to use the restroom and have to wait 15 minutes just to do that.

Review from Customer Support Dept

too many special needs children with no support
