Overall the job at Krispy Kreme is okay, but my Manager is awful. He is rude, incompetent, people are always leaving because of him. He firstly does not help at all within the shop, passes on managerial responsilities to us and is rude.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My co workers are really nice and helpful.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The questions were easy and i was hired on the spot
What are some of the best things about your team?
I only like the people I work with although they are also treated unfairly. They are friendly, bubbly and always happy to see me.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There needs to be more people working mornings as the manager will get annoyed the shop is not ready however he will not put more employees on. There needs to be a change.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I think my manager needs to change the way the company works, be a bit more considerate of employees and not put all responsibility onto one person whilst on shift with us. Needs to be better time management skills and better employee welfare.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as though I am not listened to by my manager. He is very inconsistent with his moods. As well as this, he will not pitch in with cleaning or customers leaving one person to deal with a que of customers. During Ramadan we are not allowed even a 10 minute break 'a quick bite to eat then back'
