Lamar Advertising Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My manager actually cares about his employees - like REALLY cares about them. I feel supported and valued.

Review from Sales Dept

Generally, they have shown conservative values, and have diversified the OOH medium to promote growth, as well as make the medium a little more popular.

The honesty, integrity and transparency of the leadership team. The motto ?

Review from Executive Dept

They are so invested in your career and personal life and push you to do your best no matter what that is. They care about their employees, the community and giving back.

Review from Marketing Dept

They have been around Lamar a long time and understand our business.

Very supportive and always open to listen

There is a good balanced between business goals and the well being of employees.

They are always available if I have a question.

I do not have a comment.

Review from Executive Dept

their dedication to the goal

They are actively engaged in growing the company and try to stay ahead of where we need them to be to do our part in that same mission.

I'm allowed to do the job I was trained for without micro managing

I like the way that they always want to be a leader and not a follower.

Transparency, encouragement, voicing appreciation for the work that we do

Very kind and courteous professionals.

Review from Operations Dept

They are always trying to improve

They really seem to care about employees and the communities they live in.

Clear goals. Make budget and keep expenses down

They seem to care about the company

Review from Executive Dept

They care about my work-life balance.

Review from IT Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening to their employees. Understanding todays economy and not short change them.

Care, respect, gathering information on situations and not making rash desicions. Understanding what is important to the team. Respect. Did i say respect yet.

I'm not even aware of who our leadership team really is. Almost everyone is remote so while I am forced to come into the office everyday, everyone else gets to experience the joy of WFH.

Review from IT Dept

More competitive compensation. General managers are the only ones with opportunities to make real money.

Review from Sales Dept

Some of our opp. Guys have been here for a long time, 20 years plus. We have no way to advance in this job other then being a manager. I personally don't want to be management. So their is no way for me to get ahead. I see your get people getting more money , I learned, and done everything.

Review from Operations Dept

This is the 6th year of us being Union and we're no better off with the company it's them against us all the way all the time they say we're family but they do not treat us like it at all they do not see the reasons why we went Union and do not care about them so it's very hard on the morale

Review from Operations Dept

There should be some formal education requirements to be in management. Consistency

Review from Sales Dept

Supervisior sells against sales exeutives, adding hurdles to success. Do not adhere to the same sales policies that I am required to adhere to. Have been yelled at by GM and Supervisior which has changed the dynamic of our relationship. I feel unvalued.

Review from Executive Dept

realistic expectations and communication is needed

Review from Operations Dept

Be a better leader to the team

Review from Operations Dept

Communication is something that needs to be worked on.

Review from Operations Dept

Listening and problem solving get rid of the bullying mentality.

Review from Operations Dept

Show that they care for us as humans. I feel like a robot that is being ridiculed every week

Review from Sales Dept

More understanding and better safety

Review from Operations Dept

For the amount of manual labor we do we don't get paid enough when we can go to make more money to cook at McDonald's or stock shelves at walmart.

Review from Operations Dept

Paying people more money when mcdonalds is the same wage

Review from Operations Dept

needs work better with people

Review from Sales Dept

The CT/Western MA GM only cares about numbers and dollars and not relationships with people or clients. He doesn't interact with us whatsover. They need to get out of there old fashion ways, create a better culture, help existing and new clients, and learn to be understanding and compromising.
