Overall experience has been good. I am proud to work at Leaf Group and enjoy working with my team, but the transition to being under Graham and the lack of career opportunities make the future a bit underwhelming.

Team effort throughout the department, communication, transparency.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The perks, the types of people with good personalities that are hired, the small benefits knowing that the company is looking out for your well-being.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Nothing is going wrong necessarily. Now that we are part of Graham and no longer a public-facing company, it makes it a less exciting dynamic, and the future of where Leaf is headed is still unclear.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Have a true long term vision for what Leaf Group is striving to be. Since I've joined the company three years ago, there has been minimal change or any real strategy applied to growing this business, other than selling off the entire company to Graham.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Given the size of the team that I manage, the daily responsibilities, attention to detail, level of effort, coordination with business units, and technical background required to perform successfully in my position, I don't feel that the company truly values everything that goes into the role.
