Large seperation between coorporare work and working in centers. Many centers forced to break laws on ratio and told not to say a word. Many individuals respond rudely to center staff and treat them as idiots
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing the children. The photos sent to parents.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Insurance is very expensive aand only decent at best. Retirement is good but very few stay long enough for it to be effective
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to staff. Making changes that actually improve working in these horrible conditions instead of adding more and more challenging behaviors with little support
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
It took over two months to be hired with almost no communication during a month of that. Had already accepted a different job before i was offered
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a core group of very passionate and fun people. But you will mainoy only communicate with them over email. Lots of cute pictures of kids will come accross your desk!
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
For a learning and education focused company, their meetings and training all all prerecorded and dry. Absolutely horrible. Staff trainings are jokes and give no to little info that actually pertains to the job
