Lionrock has been a pleasure to work for. I work with a highly skilled team of clinicians, and I have meaningful work that I look forward to most days. My biggest gripe is that we have an insufficient amount of PTO as this is, without a doubt, an emotionally draining position, at times.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I appreciate working with colleagues who are knowledgeable and highly skilled.
What makes you most happy at work?
My clients, hands-down. When I am having a rough go at life, they remind me that nothing is impossible.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like that we are valued as human beings and not worked to the bone like many "therapy" organizations tends to do.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I enjoy that they seek our feedback and actively work at incorporating our thoughts and feelings into solutions. I also appreciate that my direct supervisor doesn't treat me as a number and values me as a person who adds something meaningful to the company and the team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the biggest thing that many of us gripe about is that we have insufficient PTO time for a job that is so emotionally draining. It would be nice to have a "sick bucket" and a "self-care/vacation bucket". I will work through illness, otherwise, I have to forfeit my vacation time.
