My time here at this company has definitely been one filled with growth. Maybe not the type I was looking for because it came with a lot of stress, but it's taught me what I don't like and what I would not want to do as a leader in the future.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They were very thorough because I interviewed with three people. I was asked both personal and technical questions.
What makes you most happy at work?
Honestly I'm just happy that I work in a strong company, in a strong market and industry - especially during these tumultuous times (2020).
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The dollar value compensation is good, however the benefits and stocks etc need a lot of work to be competitive against the rest of the industry.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Everyone is overworked. The company really needs to implement something that values quality of life over chugging out work and meeting crazy deadlines over and over again. It's neverending and I see everyone at different levels struggling to keep up.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is ongoing improvement happening within the leadership team. That definitely counts for something. I'm looking forward to the direction that the company is taking. I do fear that we are falling behind in terms of technology but in terms of how people are treated, it's better and better.
