There is a whiff of misogyny within male-centric orgs. It is not good for morale. Most day to day activities are good, challenging and fun along with most coworkers being great. There are, however, exceptions to these points and when looking at the wider picture, you see the prejudice.

Matillion strives to do better every step of the world. There is concerted effort put in place to iron out some of the scrappiness that has been acquired during it's early startup phases and actually turn it round into a world class business.

Benefits (pension, health insurance, equity) are not yet provided to employees based outside the UK (and maybe the US), despite being "promised" on the job description and at the interview. It is a known issue and no offer of mitigation while sorting the benefits out has been offered

Matillion tries to understand if they pay us fairly by comparing our salaries against other companies of a similar size to us. The problem is that it doesn't make sense. I won't "go" to a "similarly sized" company if I decide to leave, smaller and bigger companies offer significantly more money now
