Positive Reviews From Mayo Clinic Rochester Employees

  • What did you like most about the interview process?
Everyone was straightforward and looking for the best fit. No games.
  • What makes you most happy at work?
What I get to do really helps people.
  • What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The environment is very supportive. I was told on day 1 "if you've worried for two minutes, you've worried for too long. Ask for help."

Constructive Feedback From Mayo Clinic Rochester Employees

  • Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Benefits are aggressively market-adjusted to be just generous enough not to hemorrhage staff.
  • What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Accountability and connection. When new leadership candidates are considered the interview panels should include people outside that department's staff to avoid favoritism. Candidates should be chosen based on skill and experience and not because their friends are on the interview panel.
  • What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I do not believe it can or will change.
