Explore the persons qualifications and do not base it off of how many years they worked.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They don't provide benefits for part-time employees even though we sometimes work 35-40 hours a week. No praises, or room to grow. Shift leaders are not treated fairly by the managers and employees most of the time.
