I was the only female analyst and paid thousands of dollars less than the males

People who stay at Mercer continue to earn below market value. My comp hasn't changed in the 6+ years I've worked there while my job and responsibilities have expanded considerably. Formula's and pay ranges are not retention tools. We loose folks who've been there awhile due to better pay elsewhere.
I feel very undervalued to be honest, and will be leaving the company. Mercer is a billion dollar company. But they don't mind their employees having to eat ramen noodles at the end of the month because their minimal living wage does not cover the increasing costs of every day living.
I am a "temp" employee, and as such don't qualify for benefits even though I am working during the hardest part of the year. Open Enrollment. Since I am going to be working over 5½ months, I feel that we deserve the same benefits as "Full" employees
Lower than the market average
Just too much cost for benefits
I think as per my experience and knowledge I should be at a higher grade and due to lack of opportunities and merit based recognition, i have not grown as much as i think i have the ability to grow.
