Transparency on what's happening with our industry (skills shifting, our work being disrupted by AI, etc.)
Retaining talent, make a commitment to keeping jobs locally, review the salaries and make them competitive.
Honesty, transparency, inclusion, communication, trust
Communication, style of leadership, relationship and stakeholder management
Providing better training to new employees
I was the only female analyst and paid thousands of dollars less than the males
A lot of work and not a lot of support
Salary increases lag inflation. No transparency around pay and bonus.
People who stay at Mercer continue to earn below market value. My comp hasn't changed in the 6+ years I've worked there while my job and responsibilities have expanded considerably. Formula's and pay ranges are not retention tools. We loose folks who've been there awhile due to better pay elsewhere.
I feel very undervalued to be honest, and will be leaving the company. Mercer is a billion dollar company. But they don't mind their employees having to eat ramen noodles at the end of the month because their minimal living wage does not cover the increasing costs of every day living.
More transparency, more sharing information.
Really lack collaboration skills and need to lear to openly work together across siloes
Stop time wasting and chit chats.
The quality of employees is not very good at Mercer's shared service center. They should undertake more development trainings to develop their personal and soft skills to able to interact and communicate effectively. Also the level of work ethic and professionalism is not upto the mark.
There's an overarching sense of a lack of authenticity in leadership. Leadership steps on their messaging all the time.
Treat people honestly and fair
Must be clear about roles and be serious about supporting them.
More structured with objective evaluation and a step by step multi-stage process to assess an individual holistically, specially for niche roles
