Common goal and focus need to be aligned with all department
There's no enthusiasm, and nobody has any incentive to improve our work area, or go above and beyond the bare minimum. Some employees go out of their way to make others look bad in an effort to make themselves look better, and management unknowingly plays into this.

Cronyism, woke culture, covid policy and stacked ranking systems have really brought down the house.
Have some people in management that know how to interact as a normal person.
Increase morale through increase in resources, team building, proper definition of job scope, etc
Required technicians to have some education and/or experience. We hire people as technicians who were a cashier on their previous job.

Pay more attention to department structure and focus on the output of the work, rather than coming up with ideas. We're drowning in ideas, but lack competent "doers" to get the work done. Off-shoring work needs to improve, too. Simply hiring someone in India doesn't get the job done.
