The owner, Trushar, is very nice and understanding.
Everything is truthful and honest.
Supporting employees and management of schedule and shift builders
Honestly every hotel is different. The trick is to find a property where the owner and GM actually care about their employees. Most of the time you will only find this with corporate hotels as franchise only care about making money but once in a blue moon you will find a good manager that will train
Leadership, responsibility, pride, respect, appreciation, how team work is important, time management, cell phone usage, they all need better attitudes towards guest and other employees, bullying, initiative, moral
Hire enough staff, the general manager handles everything

I work Audit and end up doing Laundry, janitorial, breakfast and front desk all in one shift. I am expected to fold 7 loads of laundry in one night while completing all other "duties" assigned to me.
Currently I am a Director of Sales and the pay isn't great and their are no bonus for hitting our numbers monthly or even quarterly. But that goes again with what GM and owner you work for.
employee retention is very low with 0 compensation to keep valued employees
Better pay and better benefits
I feel undervalued due to being over worked & under paid. I feel like i was expected to pick up everyone else's responsibilities when they would not come in on their On Call days or were no call no shows & had less days off. I think giving me more than 50 cents on my raise would help
We have a great housekeeping team that keep this hotel looking good and easy to sell. However we are in desperate need for a renovation so that makes it very difficult.
adaptable work schedule with co-workers
I love that we are all open and able to resolve work issues by communicating freely.
Coworkers need to improve their expectations and Outlook on others
Doing their job to the best of their ability
Stop bullying, be respectful, stop gossiping, spend less time on phones, help where needed not where you want
We have minimal meetings and when we do the topics discussed never get fixed.
Our GM is pretty toxic currently and is constantly having people quit because of his terrible nature and how he runs things.
non-hostile. very clean efficient stock and supply
Everyone that works here is kind and caring and the guest are a delight to meet and stay with us.
Meeting different people and talking to people
Management needs to be retrained
Needs better management team to hold staff accountable for performance
It was comfortable and more of a conversation than the standard interview questions.
consistent back and forth with follow ups after interview
I was able to talk openly and employer was kind and open.
It was an easy interview
The questions, i like when someone or people asks questions and listen to the answer. I also the group of people i interviewed with. They were professional and welcoming.
Inform interviewees as to the hours and shifts and payrate of each/said shift
Ask more questions than "Do you have experience and reliable transportation"
consistent work and positive feedback from guests
I love meeting new people and providing guests with fantastic customer service. My co workers a are great and easy to work with.
Checking in my guest and talking
Being alone while working. I get to enjoy doing what i fell I'm really good at and plenty of experience to know when things could be better for the team not just a person. I enjoy not having to listen to them complain about management or talk/text on there phones.
Employees and guests alike do not enjoy the hotel.
Renovation and a new GM that cares
Needs to hire a management team
Employees pay and more appreciation
