Doctor had been in practice many years so had a loyal patient base.
It's a paycheck. That's it.

I have a separate office to separate me from the non-compliance of employees at the front desk.
The store level employees, there is no culture at this level
The Dr does not allow us to schedule a full schedule. He’s rude and takes advantage of patients insurance. He will not do anything medical just refractions and contact lenses. We can not schedule pts first thing in the morning or around lunch because he wants to take his tim
The weekend. We try to be positive and support each other and encourage each other through the day but we're all pretty miserable.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
They all should learn about EQ
Patients need to be checked in and prescreened on time, glasses should always be checked verses copy and paste last rx from the chart.
More training make sure people are OK with doing the job that they are applied for let them know they're doing a great job
Upper management to care about the little people that work in the company
Better teamwork, less focusing on numbers and more on patient care
I highly don't think things will change in this company with favoritism,however, looking at what employees bring to the table and be opened to hear everyone ideas on what could be better.
