National Vision Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They guided us in path and right way

Still hangs on to grass roots culture

The regional manager and up are great. They take care of things when needed

He shows me a lot

They listen to every one

i only have a store manager. not an assistant and i would never want to change or trade him. he is amazing and really deserves help with getting a licensed optician so he can get a day off to spend with his family. i don't want to see him ever want to step down as manager.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

My leadership team needs to be better at communication and follow through.

Everything. This company is everything that's wrong with eyecare

Andee Doty is in no position to be a general manager. She doesnt have the knowledge, and is unprofessional and uses company time for personal time. Melinda Cane (District Manager for Dallas) ignores concerns about Andee's misbehavior but puniahes others for speaking out.

Choosing general and district managers

they need to take more accountability and own up to their flaws as well as lead by example.

Listening to employees and communication

Stop worrying so much about your own personal advancement within the company. You leave your teams in the dust and get angry when we have to make executive decisions. If you're never on the floor, how can you make the rules? Especially during a pandemic.

Review from Sales Dept

The leads all switch days of being in charge. But then get mad at each other when they are all pretending to lead the same day.

Knowing their workers and what they are good at and exploding their potential

Review from Sales Dept

Everything. Employee retention and appreciation. Ensuring management is adequate.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Everything, management is so awful.

Holding every employee to the same standard
