There have definitely been challenges and COVID has been hard to go through, but the end vision of the company from leadership and the people here make being here worth the challenging times.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like the people I work with and the support from the team as a whole.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is very eager to learn and help. Everyone seems to be in this together and are true teammates. It's a fun group of people who like to have fun and are real with eachother.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Now more than ever, I have strong faith in our leadership & executive team to make TripActions a place people want to be for career and personal finance reasons as well as overall happiness in their role coming to work every day.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our salaries are a little low compared to other companies in tech. Some of our added benefits are great, however, they're also taxed which makes them less valuable and it's not well known (ie. $500 fitness stipend). Would also be great to 401k match.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone's openness to helping and change. We have had a lot of change throughout COVID with many people starting in the middle of COVID and we've gone through a lot of changes, but everyone here (still here) seems to be dedicated to the people, mission, and work.
