NCR Corporation Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Knowledgeable, informative, team player, helpful, compassionate

Review from Customer Support Dept

Unreachable goals and meaningless expectations

Dont know then all. They just send me out on assignments. Communications with problems with expense reports etc are horrible. They do not supply with phone numbers that are critical.

Review from Customer Support Dept

commitment to become a better product

Always willing to share knowledge and provide further growth opportunities

Absolutely everything goes above and beyond.

They aim to stay in frequent communication with the employee base through frequent town hall meetings during times of change.

My manager is an eagle eye she sees everything and knows everything. Shes very observant and is always there when needed. She has lots of experience but doesnt put up with laziness and stupidity (which is not a problem if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing). The leads are great too.

They have broader vision, strategic planning and ability to achieve goals by leading and motivating various Team under their direct and indirect supervision.

Review from Operations Dept

They give realistic deadlines and they don't micromanage.

They have vision, and constantly look for improvements everywhere. We get annual surveys asking our input and we actually see them implement many. How often do you see that happen in your workplace?

Review from IT Dept

They play games like dr suess but with employees

It depends, if it's your immediate Manger then based on that manager you can have a really open dialog of communication. When it starts getting to the executive level and higher, communication at best is lack luster.

They are down to earth and aware of employee needs

The give away a lot of free stuff to the employees. For example they just gave 2 Teslas to employees who won a contest.

They are great and truly involved

Strong ELT team that appears to genuinely care about the company. I can relate to the vision, and believe strongly in the company culture. Unfortunately, what they share in all-hands meetings gets diluted along the way as what is shared is not how it is in reality.

Review from Sales Dept

There are brilliant individuals who are humble and others who are just placeholders who don't understand how the company works.

Review from Marketing Dept

Made ip of well rounded compassionate team players

The leadership team are supportive and open and positive. The problem is with some middle management - only focused on themselves.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Providing genuine feedback and not using harsh criticism or shaming as a way to "help you improve".

Need better Communications. Better reword system for employees.

They constantly change direction all the time

Micro-management makes this job unbearable and the addition of side-work misdirects focus from the job you were hired for.

Respect for employees needs to drastically improve

brains, they don't have any, just greed

basic leadership, decisiveness, thinking ahead

Review from Engineering Dept

Upper management will micro-manage employees to the point where it's impossible to do the job that hire you to do.

Review from Customer Support Dept

We are not supposed to shift to our interest fields to work here. we always wait for a weekend holiday because we are not happy with what we are doing

Review from IT Dept

A stronger focus on the employee experience.

Review from Marketing Dept

treating people under them more like valued parts of a team rather than replaceable drones
