What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Being a data company we really lag behind in using the position to our advantage, maybe already too late. There are arbitrary rules - 'back to office every day'. Salary not growing for years while inflation is rampant. Offices and positions outside the US basically don't matter / exist.

My role isn't a normal 9 - 5. I often work extended hours to accomodate various time zones. It can be extremely stressful and has been a big challenge in light of the 5-day/week return to office mandate.

I support the field and don't work w/ anyone in my office. It's a waste of time, money & productivity going in every day. I support multiple timezones which adds to the complexity. I'm generally available from 7am to 7pm, and home life suffers drastically because of the commute.

RTO doesn't make sense in my mind at least for someone who doesn't interact with the team other than in webex meeting since most of the team is in a different branch and live ~45 miles from office so give exception when it make sense instead of forcing the policy regardless of situation.

CEO appears obsessed with return to work policies and other distractions as a cause for financial stagnation. Refocusing on actual business solutions instead of eroding employee trust and taking away work flexibility ,which used to be key positives of working at Netscout, would be appreciated.

We no longer seem to be promoting from within so there isn't any upward mobility. We are all more or less stuck in our current position for the foreseeable future.

Go back to hybrid. We are so closely monitored it feels like jail. Let the managers manage. If people aren't getting job done they can deal with it. Those who work hard are being penalized for no reason and work/life balance doesn't exist. Families and health are suffering.

The executive team have stopped listening to their employees. Employees don't feel safe telling anyone the real problems or asking real questions. The executive and upper management decisions have created a culture of "it's easier to stay than leave." They need to adopt humility, listen, and change
