Clear strategy and raises. I'm somewhat surprised i'm being asked to fill out a survey to hire new people when we haven't hired any new engineers in several years and haven't done raises. Is this a joke?

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
there have been so many years in the last 10 years where there is no merit increase and promotions. At times the merit budget is way to low comparing the market meaning it may be good for US market but same might not be true for other asian countries.

it's time for new executive leadership. it's time for CEO to quit thinking he can magically summon up significant growth in the company by simply reshuffling the same tired old products. his product strategy is disjointed and he's a narcissist who wont listen to other and surrounded by yes men.

My manager is open to innovations and cost improvements but his manager is cheap and won't approve investments in improvements.

Being a data company we really lag behind in using the position to our advantage, maybe already too late. There are arbitrary rules - 'back to office every day'. Salary not growing for years while inflation is rampant. Offices and positions outside the US basically don't matter / exist.
