Basic pay is lower than what's on the market, and promotions don't necessarily involve a pay raise (you'll have to spend months in that new position first before they bump your pay).

- Development is done quick & dirty which means lots of Support - The Support needs are not planned for, well understood or communicated - Development resources work on both Development and Support - Support needs are dynamic and this is disruptive to Develpment - old processes can't keep up
