It's ok, NG is not as streamlined as other companies, and they can't match other Prime contractors competitively. The bonus system is political, and the upper management thinks they can over staff programs to meet deadlines. That same inflation of workers if let go when the work is done.

They love working in defense.

They were polite and professional.

My immediate leadership is hard working, goes the extra mile.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I get something challenging to do, but I have enough skills to get the job done.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They rely on us to be independent, I like that. However, it is it a double edged sword for new hires. It seems no aerospace company knows how to place new hires, or train them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
PTO is important, NG just has PTO you can take for sick or vacation. Unfortunately they don't compete with other companies. Starting you get 15 days a year for sick/vacation, Boeing starts you at 20; it would take you 8 years to hit that PTO accurate rate.
