Leadership is lacking. They tend to promote pure technical people instead of good leaders and managers. And, typically, pure technical experts are not great leaders. I would say that Boeing does a slightly better job at this, and even they are lacking in this category.

Management team does not value individual employees. We feel more like numbers on a board than individuals. If the company had industry competitive salaries that would make me personally feel better about my compensation, as well as if promotions were base purely on performance.

Although NG claims they have a better culture than their competitors, I've worked at those competitors and they are fooling themselves. They are all the same company with different names. Due to the large amount of people migrating between companies. The "lifers" are drinking their own kool-aide.

They interview over the phone to screen out those who cannot listen and communicate clearly. In person interviews go from selling yourself to them selling you on the job if they want to hire you. They avoid talking about benefits and other short comings of the company.
