Depends on the team. On other teams in the past, everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Some teams are actually interested in letting people fail rather than do anything other than specific job description.

Significant investment needs to be made into the culture and HR practices. Better benefits, better onboarding process, consistent performance reviews, merit increases, growth plans for employees.
