The company seems to position/project itself as a progressive culture that works to create a positive environment. In my brief time here I have experienced toxicity from a casteist Indian, seen a appropriative term casually tossed around, and felt that there is a lack of self-awareness amongst some.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Communicative, responsive, visible, accessible, reasonable open.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving problems, learning how the infrastructure has been designed and implemented.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It isn't openly toxic, hostile or abusive. This isn't a high bar, in my opinion, but given how ugly western countries can be, it's pretty good.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have been able to share honestly with the team certain things which I have experienced that I may not feel safe/confident doing so at another company.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Zestful is a nice service which lets us pay for various things using a virtual credit card. As many other things, it is a USA-based service so Canadians will be an after thought, if thought of at all.
