the way that they really listen. every call I am on they are trying to understand by asking good questions. before they make suggestions and give direction. this is very rare, in my experience

What is the best part about your compensation package?
not much - seems unachievable - only 2 reps hit quota last year and they went up a good amount.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
in theory the compensation plan sounds good, but there are very few (if any) people who were able to make the full value of it due to the metrics being unrealistic.

I don't feel undervalued, but, there are similar positions available in companies like Twilio that pay better and have better benefits. That can be overcome with option grants, however those seem to be hard to come by at Nylas without a title change, which I'm not really interested in at this time.

The pay band system doesn't really make sense. It shouldn't matter on the city but as a company what you are willing to pay people.
