What is the best part about your compensation package?
I really like that holidays are paid and that I don't have to adhere to a strict temporal schedule. I never have guilt when I need to run an errand, assist family, or take some sick time.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The transparency. I love that we have monthly all-hands meetings where each section within the company breaks down their achievements and goals. This really makes it easy to have a unified goal within the company and allows me to be interested in helping out with different areas.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is always on the dot with their help. We have a rule within our team that if we can't solve a problem in 15 minutes, we reach out to someone for help. This creates a good, helpful atmosphere, where I never feel annoying when asking a question.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the fact that they treat everyone equally. They really make a point of making sure that each and every single employee succeeds. They're very open about career growth, and respect every individual's career objectives, whether it be at Nylas or not. This, of course makes us all love Nylas.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love writing docs for my code. I feel like the documentation to my creations express a story that I can come back to and really enjoy. It makes me most happy to take a breath once in a while and reread all of my personal achievements that have been reflected in my documentation.
