Mr. Jim Gargan has been Senior Vice President of Marketing - Converged Infrastructure at Oracle Corporation since January 23, 2017. Mr. Gargan led product marketing, demand generation and sales enablement teams focused on engineered systems, as well as Oracle's Industry Solutions Group. With more than 30 years of experience building premier global brands, he has successfully implemented new product strategies, built partnerships, executed demand generation and accelerated product innovation to improve business results, drive top line growth and delight clients around the globe. Prior to joining Oracle in 2016, he held several leadership positions at IBM including serving as vice president of IBM's Marketing Transformation Practice in the Global Business Services organization in Shenzhen, China. Previously, he was IBM's vice president and business line executive leading IBM's x86 server business and for several years he led IBM's demand generation function. Mr. Gargan holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from New Hampshire College.
