John L. Hall — Senior Vice President of Oracle University at Oracle

Mr. John L. Hall has been the Senior Vice President of Oracle University, the education and training division of Oracle Corporation since 1999. Mr. Hall first joined Oracle Corporation in 1994 and has a proven track record in managing global business units for it, including serving as Managing Director for Oracle Thailand and Vice President for Oracle Asia Pacific Alliances. He managed partner recruitment, market development and channel strategies for more than 1600 partners in 27 countries and 62 offices in Asia Pacific. Mr. Hall served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Alliance Program at Oracle since June 30, 1998. During his tenure, Mr. Hall has turned Oracle University into the largest and most profitable software training business in the world, with more than 600,000 students trained annually. He was instrumental in leading Oracle University in the corporate-wide initiative to save Oracle $1 billion by automating processes using the Oracle E-Business Suite and moving traditional classroom training to an online learning environment. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Hall held a variety of senior management positions with IBM as Branch Manager and at Unisys as Director of Client Server Marketing. He has been an External Director at Oracle Corporation Japan since August 2003. Mr. Hall received a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
